Just a note:
DRIVING here in southern california so far has amounted to me having a wonderfully tanned face (and still a white body obviously) and BROWN MONKEY HANDS. LOL. It's too chilly to ride short sleeve so far and only my hand are out all day long...so i got these overly tanned brown hands and it looks ridiculous. SO i started wearing gloves on warm days too. Anyone else? I pass by the beach and the girls are walking around in bikinis and looking soooo fine but me - unevenly tanned and no hope in sight.
Another thing, does anyone else find it rather unsteady to sit at an intersection without feeling wobbly? It's like the wind or maybe just my own sense of balance stopped but i can't seem to sit right without holding onto the sides of the gas tank to steady the bike.
Then of course there is the dirt on my lips that gathers from the dry dust flowing around here all the time. Dry mouth too. I keep a water bottle on the back of my bike for that. And finally, HELMET HEAD. NOTHING quite like taking your helmet off and looking like a gary buse. Oh and let's not forget how stupid people look with those big DOT helmets on... i often drive with the illegal helmets they look better but... its not really safe i know that so i dont do it always.
